Scenes last longer than explanations. JAMSAN’s world has always begun with a single frame.

It’s OK revisits that world through drawing—its most direct form. When color is reduced and only line remains, the narrative becomes sharper. The surface feels lighter, yet the density of each scene holds. The text written by the artist does not explain the drawings. Instead, it moves alongside them at the same pace. Words and lines do not substitute for one another; they coexist, forming a quiet current. Viewers do not simply read page by page—they pass through moments. It’s OK is less a statement than a stance. A suggestion that this moment, as it is, might be enough. With pared-down lines and open space, this exhibition offers the most immediate encounter with the world JAMSAN continues to build.

잠산이 만들어온 세계를 드로잉과 텍스트로 다시 펼쳐 보이는 전시, 《It’s OK》.

장면은 말보다 오래 남는다. 잠산의 세계는 언제나 한 컷에서 시작된다.

《It’s OK》는 그가 만들어온 잠산 월드를 드로잉으로 다시 꺼내보는 전시다. 색을 덜어내고 선만 남겼을 때, 이야기는 오히려 더 분명해진다. 화면은 가벼워졌지만 장면의 밀도는 줄지 않는다. 이번 전시에서 작가가 직접 쓴 텍스트는 드로잉을 설명하지 않는다. 대신 같은 속도로 나란히 놓인다. 글과 선은 서로를 대신하지 않으면서 하나의 흐름을 만든다. 관객은 페이지를 읽기보다 장면을 통과한다. 《It’s OK》는 거창한 메시지를 내세우지 않는다. 지금 이 장면이 충분하다는 태도에 가깝다. 더 단순해진 선, 더 또렷해진 인물, 그리고 여백 속에 남겨진 잠산의 세계. 이번 전시는 그가 만들어가는 이야기를 가장 직접적인 방식으로 만나는 자리다.
